Last night as I was preparing to lead a baptism service at church, it dawned on me that I’m not a big fan of most ceremonies. By most ceremonies, I mean home school graduations, my neighbor’s birthdays, awards banquets, and other social get-togethers that call for sheet cake and “Congratulations!” balloons.
